About

Based in Perth Western Australia, I have been painting since 2007. I started with a U.W.A. summer school course and continued as part of group of painters under the tutelage of Jane McKay.

My work is best described as abstract. My landscapes are not drawn from actual places, but rather the images portray the feeling of a place or an action. Often, a simple line overheard can be the start of a painting. I love to experiment with textures and different ways to apply paint which, is apparent in the stylistic variety of my work.

In November 2010 I was part of a group exhibition at Tresillian in Nedlands. I had three works on show and sold one “Stone Circuitry”.

In November 2011 I was part of the same group exhibiting at One Hundred Gallery in Melbourne. This was well attended by local press and gallery owners.

Since 2011 I have exhibited again at Tresillian in 2019 having gained experience in both abstract acrylics, abstract watercolours and portraiture using a variety of mediums. studying with various teachers.

Currently I am working on a shared exhibition at Mountford Winery in Pemberton in May 2021.
